Check Scanning

This desktop feature was designed for bookkeepers at retail stores, allowing them to reconcile their checks at the end of their business day. This experience integrates with a check scanner, uses software to automatically fill out form and allows the user to quickly validate the scanned information matches what they see on the checks. This design significantly decreased the amount of time and effort the bookkeepers spent manually typing values into an old, outdated desktop installed application.

This design is a result of customer interviews, multiple collaborative brainstorming sessions, the design and development of a reusable design system and multiple design iteration and testing sessions.

I collaborated closely with stakeholders, users, front-end engineers, back-end architects, and product managers.
